Well I haven’t been around DA as of late these days. It seems to be obscured by my general life-living-taking-care-of-business time. So I apologize for the colossal amount of art and comments I have missed from you guys over the last month, I truly look forward to viewing it all.

You all inspire me, keep creating.

Jaaaaaaaaaay! it's you! How are you!?! It feels like a million years ago... Did Cali give you the big bear hug I asked her to pass along to you? If not, know that it was sent. How's life for you right now, in a nutshell?

Not now... I'm making toast!

J, J, when can you play?!? I saw this deviation and thought you'd love it. I mean, it wa sa DD, so it's not like it's been a big secret around here, but...I just saw it today and was immediately reminded of you :D And so I told him so...

Hope all is well with you!! Still with that wonderful lass of yours? Last I remember was she was going to a school farther away from wher eyou guys were living at the time, and so you left the place you were where Bob Masse lives, and...that was all over a year ago, wasn't it? It's beautiful here right now...in a Floridian sort of way :giggle: My boyfriend & I went to the beach in the morning for my b-day and saw two manatees swimming along the coast. It's so weird to see them in rough waters, but maybe they're just confused because of all the turmoil in the ocean right now. Anyway, they were cool. And yesterday we saw a dolphin...waaaaay off the coast - we could only barely see him, his fin.

Ciao!!

Howdy K, I haven't been able to come out to play for a long time. I've been super busy with... life. Lots of stuff going on now and such little time to spend here at DA, hopefully I can remedy this soon:)

So whose art do you think I'd love? I got to see it now.

Things are well enough and I am still with my "wonderful lass":) She is finishing up her Masters in Vancouver while I hold down the fort here on Saltspring, a wee bit difficult since our cabin's expenses are designed for two household paycheques. Now she is off to Japan to teach ecological theatre to young students, so proud of her, so I don't mind taking on the extra load. I'll miss her and I'll get by.

Manatees don't exist silly! They're mythical like unicorns and Eskimos.
Silly K.

No, that does sound beautiful, you're very lucky to have that sort of fauna in your part of the world.

Much love to you and yours K

Oh man...I can't believe I didn't give you the name of the deviant up there, because...really...I forget what it was now :? I'll try to look for them again. I just remember I ran across them because they had something featured as a DD.

Japan? Really? Oh that's so great! I've always wanted to go to Japan...it's an expensive flight though. Wouldn't it be great if you were able to get over there and see it with her? Heck, I'd go see it with her...just run around asking everyone if they know Jay, until I find someone that does...and I'll just assume it's her :giggle:

Unicorns are a myth? :( Oh J, yeh brreak mah hearrt...

We couldn't figure out what they were at first, and so imagined they must be sea monsters :D Still...true mermaids are close enough.

I'll get some pictures of the beach up here soon - I took some great ones of the southern end of the Anastasia Ledge just this morning...er...yesterday morning now. I was trying to catch some splash shots
